HobSpace · brand and visual identity

HobSpace is a new-age platform built by e-commerce that aims to use school buildings, playgrounds, building clubhouses, and community centres for extra-curricular activities for kids after their school activities. The children have a plethora of options to pick from, including indoor activities, ballet, chess and robotics. It has partnered with schools and specialist trainers to provide training and conduct lessons based on children's hobbies and sports requirements.

We worked with the founding team at HobSpace to develop the visual identity of the brand. We introduced Kiki, the brand’s mascot that visually cues the kindness-driven and planet-focused mission of the brand. Kiki is paired with a customised typemark that reflects an bold character of a star and balances it.

Colour Guide

Our primary colours are orange and yellow, because are invigorating, playful, energenic, youthful and loud. We chose 2 primary colours, with a wide variety of secondary colours to support the overall experience.

Typography which reflects the company's values

Illustration & Iconography

All illustrations are geometric and created with wholes, halves and quarters of four basic shapes. Restraint is shown when applying detail to prevent artwork from appearing noisy at smaller sizes.
