-
User Guidance: Tools and resources to guide users through the buying process, ensuring they purchase reliable and well-maintained vehicles.
-
Seamless User Experience: An intuitive and easy-to-navigate platform that simplifies the auction process for both buyers and sellers.
-
Trust and Transparency: Building trust through verified seller profiles and providing comprehensive vehicle histories and inspection details.

The product challenges - trust!
We realise to make the product better and gain trust from our user, we had to invest in creating an in-depth vehicle condition reports. Transparency is key! That's when we started designing the "Condition Report Section". We added features like:
-
Listen to the engine with APEX™ - APEX tool captures a high quality recording of the engine so you can listen from the comfort of your desk before placing a bid on a vehicle.
-
See the whole picture with Virtual Lift™ - The days of climbing under a car or waiting to put it up on a lift to see the undercarriage are over. The groundbreaking Virtual Lift Technology provides a high-definition image of the vehicle's undercarriage so you know exactly what you're bidding on – no lift required.
-
Use data to make decision - Used millions of data points to inform the condition report of every vehicle that we inspect and provide pricing data based on real time transactions so the user know how high to bid on each vehicle.
-
Market Reports - Auctmate Market Report uses real time data to provide a price range for a vehicle based on VIN or Year/Make/Model/Trim.

The seller app
The team was after a visual identity that would appeal to both male and female users, as most of the other apps on the market were predominantly used by women. The branding challenges the stigma that mental health problems should be brushed under the carpet and are usually associated with sadness and melancholy - why are gyms all about boosting your energy, while mental health resources make you feel even more depressed.
We were excited to visualise the concept of “Your Always Happy Place”. Zeal should be a source of positive energy, always waiting in your pocket, whenever you need a friend to “pick you up”. We created this wonderfully weird and memorable character who takes users on a journey to a new type of lifestyle that will transform their mental wellbeing. The colour palette, typography and logo completed the feeling of joy and contentment, trying to stay away from the entertainment space.
